The ideal candidate must possess 5-7 years of HR Generalist/Management Experience with manufacturing background in a unionized setting. This includes exposure to safety, WC Claim management, and compensation benefits administration, recruiting, effective employee relations, good interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of ADP payroll helpful. In addition the qualified candidate will possess a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of state and federal employment law, HR policies practices and procedures and will be responsible for policy interpretation, reviewing/handling all disciplinary actions including grievances, and ensuring legal compliance in all HR related matters. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and will assume responsibility for mechanical and electrical maintenance for all company equipment. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Perform troubleshooting; diagnostics, electric, and general repair to various facility systems. · Daily work order and project completion as set forth by the Maintenance Manager. · Inspect equipment regularly for problematic or unsafe conditions. · Advising Supervisor and Manager of current and potential equipment problems and building maintenance issues. Technical certification or experience in the electrical field, background working with PLC along with five or more years of maintenance experience in the food industry is strongly preferred.
